The beach of Piémanson, is in Arles on the south coast of the Salin de Giraud. This emblematic beach of the Camargue consists of a stretch of sand more than 25 kilometers long bordered by small grassy dunes and the Mediterranean sea as far as the eye can see. Naturism is popular because part of the beach of Piemanson is even an official beach starting about 1 km from the rescue station of Piemanson on the left towards the mouth of the Rhone. The naturist area is clearly marked with blue signs and a small white hut of the French Federation of Naturism. The gay zone is behind the naturist zone in a wild part of the sand dunes and bushes.
To reach the beach of Piémanson follow Salin de Giraud from Arles. The beach is then indicated. Parking on the left side of the parking lot is free. Count on another 15 minutes to get to the gay area.
