Are you dreaming of the paradisiacal beaches of Thailand for next winter? Planning a discovery trip to China? A business trip to Japan or Singapore? By operating the Northern route via Helsinki, Finnair, the Finnish national airline, offers the shortest route from Europe to Asia, from a geographical point of view. In China, Finnair also serves Shanghai, Beijing Chongqing, the mountain city, Xi'an and Hong Kong; in Japan Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. Soon the A350 XWB
Finnair, an environmentally responsible airline, will be the first in Europe to receive Airbus' new baby, the A350 XWB (XWB stands for eXtra Wide Body) in October, replacing its A340s. The A350 XWB differs from the current fleet with a wider fuselage, made of 53% lighter composite materials, and a much lower fuel consumption. Inside, the windows are wider and the sides of the aircraft are no longer curved, so passengers in the windows are more comfortable. The air conditioning system has been revised for greater comfort and the LED lighting adapts to different periods of the flight.
