After 1964 and 2001, the city of Copenhagen will host the Eurovision Song Contest for the third time next May. After Emmelie Forest’s victory last May in Malmö, everyone knew that the competition would be held in 2014 in Denmark. But the choice of the host city was only revealed this morning.
Copenhagen will be hosting the event from 6 to 10 May 2014 at the B&W Hallerne, a former industrial complex, located in the district of Refshaleøen.
The slogan for this year will be "Join Us"
The semifinals will take place on May 6 and 8. The final will be held May 10. Tickets for the show will go on sale before the end of 2013.
