Hi I’m your host Darren, I’m a hairy bear who’s also a long haired tree loving nudist hippy. I’ve lived an outrageously fun party life but am now retired and sharing my alternative lifestyle being off-grid in a fabulously decadent re-purposed ex-army barracks. "The Pink Palace” or “The Barracks" as it is known is a large queer communal living space in a veritable mansion on acreage in rural Victoria an hour north of Melbourne cbd.
The bedrooms are large (6.6mx4.5m=30m2) and fully furnished with king size beds but no en-suites. We share a large communal kitchen, communal showers, cubicle toilets and multiple social spaces.
There is a dedicated slingroom if anybody’s keen. This is a cats inside and dogs outside home with a few horses as well to keep the grass down. This is an eco-friendly off-the-grid home and although we have 24/7 solar electricity care is appropriate at what to use/when/duration...
Mostly organic meals & drinks are provided from our communal kitchen, ala-carte dining from a menu is not possible but there is usually several choices of what’s available for any meal. Guest can cook for themselves if they choose or enjoy being cooked for with all dietary wish’s catered for including gluten free. As host I’m a habitual nudist so feel more comfortable with others who also share this freedom and we have acres of bush land to laze about sunbathing.
Rental here includes all meals and drinks (except byo booze) all bills, bathroom products, wifi, phone (Australia only) multiple pay tv streaming services, local transport in 7 seat suv or Cadillac convertible. I have a passion for collecting American cars and all things gawdy! So day trips/cruises in Cadillac convertibles are possible if guests cover fuel expenses. This place is huge and eclectic bordering on eccentric but too large to keep spick & span, so if you object to dust, cobwebs and clutter it’s not for you! Each guest room is clean and tidy, but the greater house is more akin to the Munster mansion! Lol Smoking is permitted inside as several residents here are smokers though not myself.
