I am a semi-retired Proud Out Gay English man, who moved to Portugal in March 2019.
Since acquiring my Quinta, I enhanced the property, built a floating veranda, and designed and built a set of indoor and outdoor venues, now used for a range of events, courses, workshops, and therapeutic treatments.
Over the last three years, I have created different gardens and cleared and re-landscaped much of the land, including a bridge and sets of steps, between the tiers of land. Organic fruit and vegetable gardens and natural nature reserves have been re-established.
I am a very creative individual, with multiple interests. I love living on my quiet, rural Quinta (farm) and being immersed in and inspired by nature, and being blessed with stunning views across the valley, towards the Serra da Estrela Mountains.
I have a variety of interests that occupy my time. I tend to my gardens and fruit and vegetable areas and enjoy designing and constructing features for the land and gardens. In the hot summer afternoons, chilling out is essential, often in my hammock, with my cats, or with friends, attending local markets and Festas, and being actively involved in lots of different events and happenings…!
