I’m originally from the west of Scotland but have been very happily settled in Co Down for several years now.
I am so lucky to own a slice of paradise!
The Rocks is set in 2 acres of garden which in turn is hidden amongst woodland and farmland.
I am the owner of Runaway Irish Weddings an intimate tiny wedding venue known for its relaxed and boho vibe. I’m a Humanist Wedding Celebrant and LOVE my job.
I am passionate about LGBT weddings after receiving a nervous call from a wonderful couple asking if I’d possibly ‘consider same ******** marriage’ I was so upset to hear about the knock backs and issues around LGBT weddings and now proudly host utterly amazing weddings.
The Summer House was first of all the tiny wedding venue then I was asked if I did weekend breaks so ta dah a few alterations later and a magical retreat was created.
I love sharing this amazing space with my guests and sometimes making forever friends.
