Peter started his creative Marketing and promotion career working as an Interior designer in his native Denmark. Promoting the great Fifties - Sixties and Seventies Scandinavian furniture brands by architecs such as Hans Wegener, Saarinen, Jacobsen, Andersen, PH and Finn Juhl, now Global iconic classics. He then looked to London to extend the urge to enter Global Marketing.
London was at that time still ‘Swinging’ and a Global focused capital. A new wave of young marketeers - bespoke and sartorial designers were in the mid seventies shaking the foundation of traditional establishments. Educated at Kingston University with first class honours. Was subsequently accepted at the RCA but found an opportunity to join a new dynamic sartorial world as head of design at Tom Gilbey’s Savile Row Studio, overseeing high profile bespoke clients as varied as Elton John and the Duke of Bedford, actors and politicians.
Marketing and Consumer Trend forecasting was always Peter’s goal and the driving force of 80’s and 90’s London. Peter joined several companies with a high profile portfolio of top global clients in retail and consumer trends and took charge of clients in Japan, Korea, China, Australia, America, South Africa and Europe. Travelling intensively world wide, to promote lifestyle and consumer trends.
Peter’s current life on the Cote D’Azur/Riviera very much fitted in with his Philanthropic nature with continued Charity involvement in London but also enabled him to actively pursue his passion for the art world, classic music and choir involvement and finding time to continue fine-tuning his baritone voice. But most of all to show people visiting the enormous artistic legacy of the Riviera.
