Our names are Scott and Luke and we are excited to help you have an awesome Denver trip. We are a down-to-earth, gay couple - more of "jeans and t-shirt" kinda guys who try to live the most out of life.
About Scott (the profile manager): I've officially arrived at the age of 40 and have had quite the journey so far. After spending a decade as a social worker, I quit my job to pursue my dream of becoming a writer (can you tell?). Since then, I have created a successful blog and written an extremely highly rated memoir of short stories. I had also dabbled in everything from bartending, modeling, burlesque performing, and IT work. But I feel my skills are best used when helping others and, through my writing and community of readers, I am now working to get certified as a life coach. I hope to create an awesome practice to help gay men through the unique challenges we face in our lives. In my spare time, my interests include working out, crashing on the couch, partaking in recreational nudism, hiking cool trails, finding great day spas and hot springs, eating healthy food at home, and eating bad food at great local restaurants.
About Luke: First of all, Luke is amazing. Second of all, he is a social worker/mental health therapist and does incredible work with troubled teens. His program has seen some of the highest success rates in the country. Now in his almost (but not quite) mid-50s, he is more the left side of the brain in our relationship and approaches life with a calm and wisdom that others always admire. His interests include working hard, working out, relaxing in front of the TV, cooking delicious meals, beer, wine, coffee, tacos, hiking, pick-up trucks, country music, theology (he worked in the ministry for 15 years before leaving to come out), and letting Scott make him do things outside of his comfort zone.
Both Colorado natives, Luke is an introvert who likes to kick back at home while Scott is the extrovert who needs to get the hell out of the house on a regular basis. We manage to live life well by loving well. We have a three-legged Shar Pei dog named Steuben who might possibly be half-alien. We try to live by the golden rule - treat others how you like to be treated. It sounds so easy, but can so easily be forgotten.
