I am a retired IT professional who has almost always preferred to travel solo. A Francophile, I've ridden my Peugeot bicycle on 8 solo trips of 3+ weeks in various regions of France (as well as Holland, Belgium and England). An amateur photographer, my current passion is visiting cathedrals to capture a picture.
I am a non-smoker, omnivore, fairly quiet and claim to be shy, although the friends who know me best say I am shamelessly gregarious. Besides photography and travel, I enjoy reading, walking, cycling, beaches, attending classical performing arts performances. I'm spiritual, but not religious.
My last long trip was to Central Europe for 2 months in 2017, including biking along the Danube. I stayed in MisterB&B locations throughout that trip, after testing the waters with trips to Toronto and D.C. [I also spent 3 weeks in late November/early December in Puerto Vallarta.]
Coming up in 2018 will be a 2 month trip to Spain and Portugal, including a 12-day bicycle ride in Andalusia. I'm planning to again use MisterB&B as I explore the Iberian Peninsula over April and May.
