I grew up in a conservative and sheltered life in a predominantly Christian country where divorce is illegal and civil partnership is non-existent. I then worked abroad in the UAE where I realised that the social norms and taboos of the Philippines is way more lenient than the existing laws in Dubai. This is when I came to realise that there is a bigger world out there. a different perspective. a radical mind. a more accepting community. Where understanding every person's difference is key to a more tolerant behaviour.
I want to understand people more and get a deeper perspective of the world through other people's eyes.
