Hi there! Let me introduce myself: I’m Sebastiaan. The Dutch call me Bas. I’m a modern hippie, mixed with surfing and skating in the past and a passion for nice gear, high-end technology and our planet itself with all its beauty. I am single, living with my partner in crime: my cat Figaro.
I work for my own agency which specializes in interaction and graphic design for websites, usability and wayfinding, human-machine interaction and of course printed materials.
Run some technical experiments on the side, mostly with the intention that high technology can save our planet. Well, working on my little part of it. Experimenting.
In addition, I am a DJ, former bartender (licensed), self-taught graphic designer for more than 20 years and counting, IT specialist (dipl.), cinema technician (dipl.), entertainment laser technician (dipl.) and a social nerd, engineer and also autistic like Elon (Aspergers). Luckily I started behind a bar when I was fifteen so generally I‘m good with people, I hope ;-)
Music: almost everything but especially in a professional setting: Techno, Trance, Psytrance and Psybient, at home especially Ambient / Psybient, Jazz and Classical.
Me at home: Chai, harem pants, incense, my cats, serenity. Uncomplicated, direct and caring.
