That private room has brand new cozy double bed with high quality mattress!:)
(before- a while ago we used to offer sofa with very good mattrass, but as we react to the feedback, so now we have very beautiful and cozy-cozy bed- you will enjoy)
All linens, towels and maps also provided.
if you wish - we may be able to offer extra bed as well - special request must be made in advance and there will not be much space in room after that.

You will have access to the shared areas such as- a lovely dining area, a new and fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom :)
You will share those with other guests.
There is washing machine, iron with the board and a pharmacy box in common use.
There is also Mac computer for guests to use.
(When using shared facilities you are kindly asked to respect and care for the property and your neighbours well being- so please no mess, noise and braking the things)
Other guests are also neat and polite tourists.
This place is perfect FOR INDEPENDENT TRAVELER WHO LIKES COMFORT AND SECURITY.

Neither of us is living in this place, but Tia visits occasionally and we are always available via phone or internet to assist you with any questions you might have. We also provide maps, instructions and a computer in the public area for guests to use.
This room is a perfect option for independent traveller who wishes well arranged accommodation.

Pangrati is very central and lively, but secure and residential area. Lots of shops and bars, and plenty of greens. Walking distance from the centre and most of the historical sights.
Nearest supermarket 2 minutes away, many nice bakeries, coffee shops.

Very central, so getting around by foot would be a nice option. Public transport available, bus and trolley stations very close, we can provide detailed information.
AIRPORT-
There is bus ( X95) just in front of the airport arrivals (€6) and metro (€8) from airport to city centre (Evangelismos or Syntagma station), from there for first time visitor would be wise to take taxi (€4-5 ).
If you choose to come from the airport by taxi, it costs around €40.

* Also please note the check-in (after 14) and check out (before 11 am) times. To provide good and thorough cleaning service we cannot always be very flexible with Check in/out times, but we try to do our best to help our guests. When your flight arrives very early or late, you may bring your luggage and store it in common area until your check (website hidden) cannot be too early nor too late though- as we must keep in mind also previous and next guests. Please ask in advance- we try to help as we can, but it's not guaranteed.

You will share those with other guests, altogether we have 3 bedrooms in this apartment, most other guests are single female travelers or couples, rarely single male travelers. Everyone are decent and neat people and we have set of house rules to help you co exist.
There is washing machine and a pharmacy box in common use.
There is also Mac computer for our guests to use.
The other residents in this apartment are also clean and polite tourists.
You will be welcome to use all common areas and facilities, but are also kindly asked to be respectful with other guests, be neat.
The whole apartment is strictly non smoking.
We expect our guests to clean and put things back after each use.
Pangrati is a lively neighbourhood with everything you need within one block- cafe, supermarkets, restaurants, bus stops..!

The area itself is residential, real Greek area. It is safe, it is local, it gives you the glimpse of true Greek life. Same time being very conveniently near everything a tourist comes to see in Athens :)
and those concerned about safety- you could not choose better area, its ok even to walk at midnight- no worries:)
Architecture itself is modest- typical Greek residential area, but really very safe (even at night!) and easy connected with centre. Syntagma is 10 min by trolleybus, 20 min by walk, or 5 min by taxi (5 euros- if you are asked more, then you have an dishonest driver) same to Acropolis
Very easy route to and from AIRPORT (bus X95 to Syntagma and then 5 eur Taxi) and ship port- instructions provided in itinerary.
It is comfortably near the centre, walking distance to the tourist are is 10 min (First Olympic Stadium) the Acropolis is further another 10min - the walk to city from Olympic stadium goes between Zeus temple and Zapio/National Gardens- so it is a fantastic stroll- please read maps provided, so you will not be lost.

* Please do ask instructions for public transport (if you can not find them by yourself- maps provided), we have excellent connection by buses, it is pitty if people do not use it and then complain that there is no transport. we provide you with all useful tools- please use it:)
There are are buses within 3-6 min walk and metro station 20 minutes walk from the apartment.
Trolley bus 4 stops behind the church (Profitis Elias) 2 min away, more bus stations are 5 min walk away.

AIRPORT bus X95- ticket 6 eur to Syntagma and then short taxi ride (5 min and 6 eur)
Bus X95 from airport runs 24/7 and bus 40 to ship port also.

If you wish a private driver- ask from us- we may be able to help with this.

WE CAN NOT OFFER LUGGAGE STORAGE, as we do not have space for such service, and for security reasons we can not have people coming and going after their check in/out times. If someone comes 2-3 hours early and Tia is there, you may bring your luggage bit earlier..
When your flight arrives very early or late,
we recommend luggage storage in city centre- look our guidebook or ask us ;)
There is always a luggage storage in airport, ship port and bus station- so when your route comes or goes from those, then you may be able to leave your things there as well.

Cleaning fee is one time fee for one time service- to provide you with freshly prepared bed and room, also to provide you with essentials in kitchen and bathroom. It is added to each booking.
