I love music, dancing, art and vintage furniture – Danish Modern in particular – and I’m very interested in culture and languages. I’ve studied and worked in France and Belgium for a few years, and thus speak French fluently. I’ve also spent quite some time in Cuba, but my Spanish still needs a bit of work ;-)
What I love the most about my apartment is the great view and the location – central yet surrounded by the most beautiful parks and galleries of Copenhagen – and how quiet, spacious, and bright it is. I also love relaxing on my green balcony in the summer. It’s a bit of an oasis with trees, bushes, plants, flowers, and strawberries. I love the fact that my maternal grandmother lived with my great-grandparents and married my grandfather in this street. My apartment is partly decorated with vintage furniture inherited from my paternal grandparents. My grandfather was a very talented cabinetmaker active during the height of the Danish Modern era, and some pieces - all of great sentimental value - were created for my grandmother when they married in 1940.
I’m available (phone and e-mail) both before and during your stay, and I'll do my utmost to make it a great experience for you.
Depending on the time of your arrival, I'm happy to show you the neighborhood. I’ve also prepared a list of my favourite restaurants, cafés, bakeries, museums and supermarkets nearby.
Danish guests have the possibility to rent my car with Gomore and enjoy free parking in the area.
