Left a career in Architecture in London with my Musical Director partner Christopher in 2002 and moved to North Wales - opening manorhaus Ruthin in 2002. Since then our 22+ year journey has included winning national best place to stay awards, being Michelin listed for a decade, operating as a 7 day restaurant - but now post covid focus on offering a more private Guesthouse experience fro guests staying with us. Enjoy hosting a weekly dinner & film evening called picturehaus that draws locals and people from further afield to enjoy a movie themed dinner followed by film in our 20 seat cinema.
Have volunteered for many years to support the town including as a Town Councillor and the Towns first openly Gay Mayor in 2009 and again ********.
When we have time off we enjoy city breaks, travelling, musical theatre, Architecture and good food and wine.
