THE SKINNY: Nestled along the serene shore of Lake Asbury, this charming home exudes an air of tranquility and warmth. Its spacious backyard unfolds like a lush canvas, adorned with vibrant flora and shady trees, inviting both relaxation and exploration. THE PROXIMITY: If you are looking for a perfect spot to stay when attending an event at the Clay County Fairgrounds or looking to be near St. Johns River for boating and other water sports. Only a 30 minute drive to the Clay theater!

ATTRACTIONS: This home is perfect for a yoga retreat or getaway! Most of the local hot spots are within a 5-30 minute drive. To name a few: This home is less than 3 minutes from Winn Dixie grocery store, Whitey's Fish Camp, Dreamette, G's BBQ, Grumpy's, Call Street Cafe, Spring Park Coffee, Present Tense Coffee and Books, Sweet Sensations. Just a 2 mile drive to the Old Ferry Boat Ramp, or a 9 mile drive to the Black Creek Marina and Boat Ramp.

THE SPACE: The home sleeps 6 comfortably in 2 bedrooms with 1 Queen bed, 2 Twin beds and 1 Queen sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is equipped to service your whole group and cook together for a great night in! Enjoy the wood burning fire pit or propane BBQ all while soaking in the water views. Are you adventurous? Take out a kayak or SUP on the water for a serene daytime float around Lake Asbury. The TV's are Smart TVs, so simply login to your Netflix, Hulu or HBO account to enjoy your favorite movies and shows.

AMENITIES: Linens and Towels Included. Smart tv in the living room, log into your favorite streaming app to pick up right where you left off. Wood burning fire pit with a bundle of logs. Propane BBQ. Patio dining and lounging. Plenty of off street parking for 4 cars. Washer and dryer. Kayaks, SUP, fishing gear (with signed waiver) for fun in the sun!

OPEN LIVING: The kitchen is situated adjacent to the living and dining area so everyone can be together whether lounging, dining or cooking! We outfit the kitchen with one roll of paper towels, a few starter trash bags and dishwasher pods for your first couple of days.

PARKING: There is plenty of off street parking in our driveway for 3 cars. Street parking is prohibited.

LAUNDRY: We offer a set of washers and dryers off of the dining room. We provide starter laundry pods + dryer sheets, iron and ironing board and some cleaning supplies for your convenience.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $99. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $1500 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). * IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($500, $1000, $1500, etc) is not the max that you are responsible for. If damages exist beyond your coverage amount we will document this with photos and professional estimates of repair, and bill you for the repairs or replacements.
The entire home is included in the listing. The dock is available for kayaks and paddle boards but you cannot dock water vehicles such as boats or jet skis here. You are welcome to bring them on a trailer, park them in the driveway and drop them in at the boat ramp. Parking is available in the driveway. Street parking is prohibited.
The neighborhood is cozy and quaint! Enjoy a scenic walk around with your group or pet. This is a primarily residential neighborhood.
We recommend renting a car for your stay.
Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

DOGS ALLOWED WITH RESTRICTIONS: You may have a dog up to 30 lbs with approval and payment of nightly fee. We request and expect the following from our pup-parents: Please do not leave your dog in the unit unattended for long periods of time, he/she must be bathed, up to date on vaccinations, and treated regularly with flea preventative. Please be courteous to your neighbors, follow our county’s leash laws, and always clean up after them! Poop scooping is not included in your pet fee or cleaning fee and will incur an additional charge.

Fireplace is not usable, it is decorative only.
