The large pool's dimensions are: 5x10 meters length and from 1.5 m to 1.7 m depth.

Guest have exclusive access to whole villa during their holidays. There are no shared spaces.
Pau is a small village in the Alt Empordà region. The municipality of Pau is located in the Sierra de Rodes and on the banks of the Muga river. Pau is made up of the population entities of the nucleus of Pau and the urbanizations of Vilaüt and dels Olivars de Pau.
Its surroundings are framed by the Cap de Creus Natural Park and the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park, of which Pau is a part. In this regard, Vilaüt Lake is worth mentioning, since it is a common place for nesting and passage of birds, as it is part of the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park.
Pau's past goes back many years, and the megalithic monuments that we find in its term, in the Sierra de Rodes, are shown. It is worth noting the Burnau dolmen located in the middle of an urbanisation. It consists of five large slabs and two more on the roof. There is also the one in the neck of the La Margalla forest that preserves nine nailed slabs and three more on the roof. Another example is the Vinyes Mortes dolmen, which preserves six slabs and one for the roof.
Pau was also part of the Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery during the Middle Ages. And probably from this period is the church of Sant Martí, from the 11th-13th centuries. We can highlight the facade, since it has a doorway made up of five semi-circular archivolts. The columns on which the portal rests are ornamented with capitals decorated with plant and zoomorphic motifs.
Pau also had a castle, which was the center of the Pau barony, and on which today we find a large privately owned house called Cal Marquès, dating from the 17th-18th century.
Even so, Pau is a very small town, with just over 550 inhabitants, which is why the closest basic services are found in Palau Saverdera (supermarket, restaurant, hairdresser, pharmacy...). The best of the town, by many, would be the public pool facilities, as well as the bar/restaurant in the civic center. The available space allows for events/concerts known in the area.
If you feel like going shopping or doing a cultural visit, Figueres, the capital of the Alt Empordà, is the ideal place. There you will find a wide variety of shops and restaurants to spend a good day. The Dalí museum is another highly recommended option, where you can find a large part of his works of art. This famous painter also had a house in the well-known town of Cadaqués, which today is a museum open to the public, another tourist attraction that may be of interest to you.
Finally, it is worth highlighting Rosas, where you can enjoy the beaches, the sun, and the restaurants. Some of the best and most recommended beaches are Cala Montjoi, Cala Murtra, Cala Rustella and Cala Jòncols.
Pau has a public bus stop to move around the area, reaching Cadaqués and Figueres at most. In Vilajuiga there is a train stop that goes to Barcelona and Portbou; and in Figueres/Vilafant there are several public transports, apart from the bus and the train, there is the high-speed train (AVE), recommended if you want to go to Barcelona.
It is a very safe urbanisation, there is the option to park your car on the street, but there is also space inside the property.
